This personal portfolio uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8YC2E5MW2M) only if you choose Allow analytics. Until then, the Google tag is not loaded and this website sends no analytics data to Google. If you decline, the portfolio still works normally.
After you opt in, Analytics records page visits and a limited set of interactions: project links, CV-link opens, email-link clicks, GitHub and LinkedIn clicks, language changes, article reading depth, and other outbound links. Event parameters contain the site language, a public project title, or an outbound host—not your email address, typed input, or full link with query parameters. The CV link currently opens a Google Drive viewing page; the download_cv event counts that link click, not a confirmed file download. Google may process technical information such as your IP address and browser data as part of the service. The portfolio disables Google Signals and ads personalization in its tag configuration.
Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage as portfolio-analytics-consent-v1. Use Analytics settings in the footer at any time to change it. Declining after opting in stops the tag on reload; it cannot undo data already sent. Clearing browser storage resets the choice. Your browser or Google Analytics may store additional information after you opt in. See Google’s privacy policy for Google’s processing details.
